In Monster Hunter Wilds, the Wyveria Lantern can be collected by repeatedly gathering the 'Mysterious Fruit' found in the Ruins of Wyveria. During the Wyvern's Stirring/Wyvern's Wakening period, the number of gathering locations increases, so make sure to travel along the route shown in the image, starting from the Pop-Up Camp in Area 6 Southeast.
Ruins of Wyveria Camp Locations & MapFarm During Optional Quest Within the Period

It's recommended to collect Wyveria Lanterns during the 'Stirring' or 'Wakening' Optional Quest, as the gathering spots increase. Since High Rank/Low Rank doesn't matter, feel free to choose quests for additional items, like Low Rank ores.
Activate Geologist Skill

With Geologist skill at level 2, one additional specialty item can be gathered. Chainmail Equipment has the Geologist skill by default, so be sure to change into it at the camp before heading out to mine.

After collecting the Wyveria Lantern, return to the quest. The mysterious fruit that yields Wyveria Lanterns will respawn once you accept the Optional Quest again.
