How to Get Dalthydon Wool
Obtained by Item Trades

Dalthydon Wool in Monster Hunter Wilds can be obtained through Item Trades with Kilama in Kunafa Village. However, the exchange lineup is random. If the item is not in rotation, rest in your tent to refresh the available items.

Prepare Geologist Equipment

To activate Geologist Lv2, equip two pieces of the Chainmail Armor Set. With Geologist Lv2, the number of items gathered increases by one for each gathering point, allowing you to obtain more items for exchange.
Get Trade Items (Either Item)

To exchange for Dalthydon Wool, you will need either Fine Windward Aloe or Thundering Fulgurite. Dalthydon Wool will require a specific amount of trade items, so be sure to collect as many Trade-in items as possible.
Rest in the Tent to Change Weather
Resting in the tent changes the environment and time, use this to your advantage to change the environment where the Trade-in Items will appear. Note that this process will cost 300 Guild Points for each Rest.
Talk to Kilama in Kunafa Village

Once you have the necessary item for exchange, talk to Kilama in Kunafa. This will unlock Item Trade with Kilama and you can now trade by talking to Nata at Base Camp.
Rest in Tent to Reset Item Trades
Dalthydon Wool is not guaranteed to appear in the Item Trade lineup with Kilama, so talk to Nata at Base Camp to check the items in rotation. If it is not available, rest in the tent and repeat the process.
Exchange as Needed
Exchange Dalthydon Wool when it appears in the Item Trade lineup. There is a limit to how many items can be exchanged. If you need more, return to step 4 and repeat the process.
