Obtain from Ancient Relic in Iceshard Cliffs

In Monster Hunter Wilds, the Dragonscale Vase can be obtained from 'Ancient Relics' in Iceshard Cliffs, regardless of High Rank or Low Rank. They are commonly found near Pop-Up Camps in Areas 15 and 20, so set up a Pop-Up Camp beforehand for efficient farming.

Dragonscale Vase has a low drop rate, so it's best to farm it through Optional Quests, as gathering points reset with quest resets. Rank doesn't matter, so feel free to choose quests based on other materials like Low Rank ore.

Increase Gathering Yield With Skills

Geologist Skill Lv2 increases the number of Special Items gathered by 1 per attempt. In contrast, Gatherer Meal skill randomly adds 1 more item. These two skills stack, allowing you to gather up to 3 Dragonscale Vases from a single spot. Since Geologist can be activated with the Chainmail Equipment you start with, be sure to switch your gear at the camp before heading out to gather.

Low Priority of Gatherer Meal Skill

Geologist always increases gathering, while Gatherer Meal's boost is random, so there may be times when gathering amount doesn't increase. Additionally, since Truffle D Conga is a rare material, activating Gatherer Meal isn't always necessary.

Chance to Obtain from Material Retrieval

Dragonscale Vase can also be obtained through Material Retrieval from Apar in Suja. Since the material can't be specified and the drop is random, it's not a reliable source, but be sure to check periodically between quests.

Effect of Dragonscale Vase

Used for Item Trade with Sekka

Dragonscale Vase is used for Item Trade with Sekka at Suja, the peak of fellowship. Can be exchanged for Suja Textiles and Nerscylla Spike+.

You Can Trade With Nata After Talking Once

After clearing Chapter 4-1, if you talk to Sekka at least once, you can trade items with Sekka by talking to Nata. From that point, there will be no need to go to Suja.
