Shiny Treasure in Monster Hunter Wilds can be obtained from Weathered Treasure in Scarlet Forest in both High and Low Rank. The number of nodes will increase during the Plenty, so you can get more Shiny Treasures.

Accept an Optional Quest in Scarlet Forest

scarlet forest optional quest

It is recommended to accept an Optional Quest with the Plenty in Scarlet Forest. By accepting the quest, gathering, and returning, you can gather as many times as you like.

Press L2 + D-Pad to Collect Underwater

controls

You can select the target by pressing L2 + D-pad while underwater. Gathering can also be done manually by placing the cursor on the target. However, this method is not recommended as it is time-consuming.

Increase Amount Obtained

- Geologist Lv2

Truffle Du CongTruffle Du Conga
- Gatherer Meals
- Items gathered increases randomly

Skills such as Geologist increase the number of items obtained by 1 at level 2. On the other hand, the Gatherer Meal randomly increases items obtained by 1. As both skills stack, it is possible to mine multiple items at once. Notably, the Geologist skill can be activated with the Chainmail equipment set, which is available at the start of the game.

Gatherer Meal Skill isn't Required

Gatherer Meal does not always guarantee the number of items gained will increase. Additionally, Truffle Du Conga is a difficult ingredient to obtain, so it is not required to activate this skill.

Obtained Through Material Retrieval

CPlumeplum trade

Shiny Treasure can also be obtained from Plumpeach's Material Retrieval in Scarlet Forest. This method is not recommended as it is difficult to secure a large quantity of items and it is not a guaranteed item. However, it is worth to check items periodically to check whether the item has dropped.
