Sild Cotton - How to Get
Obtain by Item Trade with Ren
In Monster Hunter Wilds, Sild Cotton can be obtained by Item Trade with Ren from Slid, The Keepers' Vigil or Gawdygog from Scarlet Forest. It appears in the trade lineup randomly, so if it's not available, you can 'Rest' at the Tent to refresh the lineup.

First, collect the items needed to trade for Sild Cotton. You can craft two pieces of Sild α armor, but since each piece requires two, aim to gather a total of four.
Rest at the Tent to Change Environment
When you select 'Rest' at the Tent, the current environment information changes, making it useful when aiming for an environment where trade items appear. However, each rest costs 300 guild points.
Talk to Ren in The Keepers' Vigil (First Time Only)
Once you have prepared the items needed for the trade, head to Ren in The Keepers' Vigil. Speaking with him will unlock the 'Item Trade' with Ren. After that, you can also trade by talking to Nata at the Base Camp.
Rest at the Tent to Refresh Trade Lineup
Since Sild Cotton's appearance in Ren's Item Trade lineup is random, talk to Nata at the Base Camp to check if it's available. If it's not, repeat the process by resting at the Tent to refresh the lineup.
Trade for the Required Amount When It Appears
Once Sild Cotton appears in the Item Trade lineup, make the exchange. However, there is a limit to the number you can trade at once, so if you're unable to trade for the required amount, return to Step 3 and repeat the resting process.
