Hirabami Molting

Hirabami Molting in Monster Hunter Wilds can be obtained in Iceshard Cliffs . The gathering points only appear in the Plenty, and are located near the Pop-Up camp in Area 19, so set up camp before proceeding.

Accept an Optional Quest

Once you have gathered all the available Hirabami Molting nodes, accept an Optional Quest to restore the gathering nodes. Alternatively, you can rest at camp to respawn all the nodes. However, this is not recommended as it will consume Guild Points.

Skills such as Geologist increase the number of ores obtained by 1 at level 3. On the other hand, the Gatherer Meal randomly increases items obtained by 1. As both skills stack, it is possible to mine multiple items at once. Notably, the Geologist skill can be activated with the Chainmail equipment set, which is available at the start of the game.

Gatherer Meal Skill isn't Required

Gatherer Meal does not always guarantee the number of items gained will increase. Additionally, Truffle Du Conga is a difficult ingredient to obtain, so it is not required to activate this skill.
