Pure Fulgurite - How to Get

Gather in Windward Plains

Pure Fulgurite in Monster Hunter Wilds can be obtained Fulgurite Crystals as a rare item in Windward Plains. Additionally, more nodes spawn during the Plenty so accept Optional Quest to change the weather before gathering.

Events Increase Gathering Nodes

Gathering Nodes may increase if there is an event such as Thundering Fulgurite Emergence. This can be found in the Environment Overview, so check the forecast from time to time.

Optional Quest in Windward Plains

The gathering nodes can only found during the Plenty, so it is recommended to accept an Optional Quest with the Plenty in Windward Plains. Note that the only Optional Quest that fits this category is only available in High Rank.

Increase Amount Obtained

Equipment Skill	- Geologist Lv2 - Adds one extra item when gathering from bonepiles
Truffle Du Conga	- Gatherer Meals - Items gathered increases randomly

Skills such as Geologist increase the number of items obtained by 1 at level 2. On the other hand, the Gatherer Meal randomly increases items obtained by 1. As both skills stack, it is possible to mine multiple items at once. Notably, the Geologist skill can be activated with the Chainmail equipment set, which is available at the start of the game.

Equip Armor With Forager's Luck Skill

* Requires 3 items with the same effect

If you have Forager's Luck activated by equipping three items with the Group Skill Imparted Wisdom, you can increase the chance of obtaining a rare item. To craft the armor, you will need materials obtained from Item Trade as Rarity 6 Special Items. Note that you can still collect Fiery Sandpaper without Forager's Luck.

Gatherer Meal Skill isn't Required

Gatherer Meal does not always guarantee the number of items gained will increase. Additionally, Truffle Du Conga is a difficult ingredient to obtain, so it is not required to activate this skill.

Effect of Pure Fulgurite

Used for Item Trade with Kilama

Pure Fulgurite is used for item trade with Kirama, who is located at the Fire Kiln Village Azus. It can be exchanged for items such as Dalthydon Wool and Monster Fluid.

Recommended Materials and Locations for Item Trade

After clearing Chapter 4-1, if you talk to Kilama at least once, you can trade items with Kilama through speaking to Nata at Base Camp from then on. There will be no need to go to the Windward Plains anymore.
