Sinister Cloth - How to Get

Obtain through exchange with Kirama in Kunafa Village

Sinister Cloth

The Sinister Cloth in Monster Hunter Wilds can be obtained by exchanging items with Kirama in Kunafa Village. However, since its appearance in the exchange lineup is random, if it doesn’t appear, take a rest in your tent to refresh the lineup.

The Sinister Cloth tends to appear more frequently during the Fallow. Based on tests by the strategy team, after updating the lineup 20 times in each environment, the Sinister Cloth only appeared during the Fallow.

Efficient Obtaining Procedure

Obtain the exchange items

Special ProductsHow to Obtain
Great Windward AloeGreat Windward AloeWindward Plains(High Rank/Plenty) during the event when Great Windward Aloe appears, collect from large Hedate Aloe
* Geology does not increase the number of collected items

First, gather the items required for the exchange to obtain the Sinister Cloth. There are 5 parts of the Desgear α armor that can be crafted, so aim to collect 5 (10 if you want to complete the layered armor) through the exchange.

Rest in your Tent If the Weather Does Not Match

Resting in your tent can change the current environment information so you can target the environment where the trade items appear. Use this when aiming for a weather preferred. But each time you rest, it will cost 300 guild points.

Talk to Kirama in Kunafa Village (To Unlock)

Talk to Kirama in Kunafa Village

After preparing the exchange items, go meet Kirama in Kunafa. Talking to her will unlock the “item exchange” with Kirama, and from then on, you can talk to Nata at the base camp to exchange items.

Set to Fallow and Rest Until it Appears

Since the Sinister Cloth may appear randomly in the exchange lineup with Kirama, repeat the process of checking with Nata at the base camp and resting in the tent if it doesn't appear. At this time, set the environment to Fallow, where the Sinister Cloth is more likely to appear.

Exchange for the Required Amount Once it Appears

Once the Sinister Cloth appears in the exchange lineup, make the exchange. However, there is a limit to the number of items you can exchange at once. If you can’t exchange for the required amount, go back to Step 4 and repeat the resting process.
