How to Get Guardian Scale

Destroy the Target's Wounds

In Monster Hunter Wilds, Guardian Scale can only be obtained by destroying the wounds of Guardian Ebony Odogaron and Guardian Rathalos in Low Rank or as an Optional Quest reward. While fighting both monsters, aim to destroy their wounds as much as possible by frequently using Focus Strike.

Low Rank Arkveld and Zoh Shia

While you can also get Guardian Pelts from Low Rank Arkveld and Zoh Shia, you can only fight them once in the story. There are no Low Rank Quest or Field Surveys, so collect Guardian Pelts from Guardian Doshaguma.

Cannot be Obtained in High Rank

Guardian Scale is a Low Rank exclusive material and cannot be obtained from High Rank monsters. If you have reached High Rank, take a 3-star quest or lower.
