Fontaine is the region known to be the land of innovation and justice. It is led by the Hydro Archon. The entire continental plate of Fontaine is elevated and as much as there is land, there are bodies of water surrounding the whole nation.

Fontaine's 8 Local Legends are scattered around the Fontaine nation. Locate these local legend enemies and defeat them to obtain rewards, such as Precious Chest and hidden achievements.

4.0 Update - New Quests

Archon Quest

Fontaine's story seems to be centered around the prophecy that states Fontaine and everyone in it will sink and disappear in water. It is also looks at Focalors as a befitting archon for the nation of Hydro.

Lynys Story Quest

Lynys will have his own Story Quest with his release in the 4.0 Update. This can be played even if you do not have Lynys in your roster.

4.0 Update - New Features

Diving & Sprinting Underwater

A new mobility option will be added with Fontaine. Players will be able to dive underwater and swim underneath the surface of Fontaine's waters. Additionally, they can swim faster in the same sense as sprinting on land!

New Artifact Stronghold Boxes

As was announced, new artifacts will be added in the Stronghold Boxes. This includes artifacts released right up to before Sumeru was added.

Multi-Level Map

The Multi-Level Map will allow players to view the map in different levels to make it easier for players to distinguish locations and routes.

Party Setup Screen Animation

The new Party Setup Screen will add new animation per character to create a more dynamic party setup screen! Backgrounds can also be changed depending on which you've unlocked.

Genius Invokation TCG Spectating System

In the Genius Invokation TCG Spectating System, players can view their friends' TCG matches.
