In order to break the Emperor of Fire and Iron's pyro shield easily, it is recommended to use any of the Hydro and Electro characters on your roster to do this.
Unlock Crabs For The Crab Throne Achievement
To get this achievement, you must quickly defeat the Emperor of Fire and Iron during its weakened state where the crab boss does not do any movement. You can do this while its HP is severely drained, but remember that it must not be moving at all while you are attacking it so you will be able to get this achievement.

Destroy The Horns To Stun The Emperor Of Fire & Iron
The Emperor Of Fire & Iron boasts some impressive horns and breaking them will effectively stun it, giving you a huge opening while it is down. You can destroy the horns by producing Elemental Reactions with it.
Bar On Top Of It Is For The Horn's HP
You can check how far a long you are in breaking the boss' horn through the bar on top of its head.
Recommended To Bring Hydro & Electro Characters
Since the goal is to destroy the horns, it's best to bring Hydro or Electro characters to this fight. This is due to Hydro and Electro having the most effective elemental reactions against Pyro.

Not Recommended To Bring Pyro Characters
Since Pyro doesn't affect the horns of the Emperor of Fire & Iron, it's not recommended to bring Pyro characters to the fight. You can bring Pyro characters like Bennett to buff other characters, but using one as your main attacker would make the fight so much harder.
Stronger Attacks While Horns Are Intact
The Emperor of Fire & Iron has a devastating attack wherein it will dig its horns on the ground and unleash an eruption. It has high damage and it will leave the arena near the eruption burnt, damaging characters that will stand there.
Having A Shield Will Make The Fight Easier
Since the boss has mostly short-range attacks, it's fairly easy to get hit when you're trying to attack it. Having a shield and a healer on your team will make it easier to survive and win in this fight.
