Maguu Kenki was initially introduced in version 1.6 of Genshin Impact. Althought the area where it was initially located is gone, it has been moved to a new area in Inazuma.

You can find the Meguu Kenki in a small groove in between Serpent's Head and Jakotsu Mine. You can simply drop down to its arena and start the fight.

The unique material you can get from the Meguu Kenki is the Marionette Core. It's an ascension material used by characters, including Kazuha and Sayu.

Play Through Archon Quest Chapter 2 Act 1

Play Through Archon Quest Chapter 2 Act 1

Players need to play through Stillness, The Sublimation Of Shadow Archon Quest (Chapter 2 Act 2) before they can fully explore Inazuma. Once you do, you can move through the island and get to the Maguu Kenki's location.

- Hu Tao is one of the best close range DPS in-game.
- Bennett boost the ATK of Hu Tao enabling her to deal more powerful DMG.
- Xingqiu will use his Burst to add additional DMG and reaction DMG to Hu Tao
- Zhongli keeps you safe from hard to dodge Maguu Kenki Attacks.

- Any Pyro DPS will be good against Maguu Kenki.

- Barbara is also a good healer but beware of Maguu Kenki's ice attacks.

Archers Not Recommended

Due to the Mask mechanic that blocks all ranged attacks, Bow wielding characters may have a hard time dealing with Maguu Kenki. These include but is not limited to: Fischl, Ganyu, Diona etc.

It is announced that the mask of Maguu Kenki will block all all ranged attacks. Players will need to rely on melee attack's to take it down.

When HP Drops Low, Deals Anemo Attacks

Maguu Kenki's attacks will become Anemo infused when his HP drops below certain thresholds. Phantoms will also be summoned. Players should take notice or face heavier damage as the fight goes on.

The phantoms can be potentially devastating as they do Anemo & Cryo damage. This could trigger character's elements causing undesired reactions.

Keep Distance When Maguu Kenki Is Holding 2 Blades

At the later phase at Battle, Maguu Kenki will draw two blades. This signals a powerful AoE so make sure to stay away from the boss during this time.

Most Of The Attacks Can Be Dodge By Staying On Its Side

Side

Most of Maguu Kenki's Strikes are frontal. Just staying on the side will be enough to dodge them. After their attack, they will be open for a few seconds so prepare for dealing DMG right after.

Shields Are Great For Difficult To Dodge Attacks

Some attacks are sudden explosions in-field and is difficult to dodge. Keeping up shields is recommended to avoid fatal damage from these attacks.

Not sure if this is the same for everyone but at AR27, he was LVL 19 my first fight with him. Second fight, he was LVL 41.

Found him!

You need to destroy the copper towers to drain the islands then in the middle he should be 'Resting'
Dont know how to wake him up tho.

He is only available in part 2 of the quest
