You can unlock the hidden area by activating the triangular mechanisms. Hit the three mechanisms to open the locked area.
Where To Find Secret Room Key

| 2 | Go underground and go up the stairs. |
| 3 | Follow the path and open the common chest. |
I. Switch to Evernight
Make your way inside the hidden area and be sure to switch to Evernight.
III. Open the Common Chest
Once you head up the stairs, go straight and you should find a common chest beside a shade. If the chest is not there, then you might have already obtained the item before.
The Narrows Secret Room - Luxurious Chest Puzzle Solution

Teleport to the waypoint south of The Narrows and head to the specified location. Use the secret room key to open the locked door.
Walkthrough Chart

| 1 | Go straight and destroy the slime bombs to reveal a secret passage. |
| 2 | Switch between Evernight & Whitenight to progress and unlock the room in the back. |
| 3 | Touch the Place of Essence Worship to collect the essence. |
| 4 | Switch to Whitenight and place the essence on the broken triangle mechanism to unlock the gate. |
| 5 | Head straight to find a Precious Chest. |
| 6 | Go back and activate the mural on the wall. |
| 7 | Go to Serpent's Heart and solve the puzzle by going through the spectral doorways in the order as shown in the mural. |
| 8 | Defeat the three Ruin Guards. |
I. Destroy The Slime Bombs
Once you head inside, you will find slime bomb barrels at the end. Destroy those to reveal a hidden area.
II. Switch Between Evernight & Whitenight To Progress
▲ Follow the sequence above to progress.
Go to the first mechanism and switch between Evernight & Whitenight to progress. Activating the cube mechanism will unlock the room in the back.
III. Collect Essence From Place Of Worship
When you get to the back of the room, collect the essence from the Place Of Worship. The essence will not disappear even when in Whitenight.
IV. Switch To Whitenight And Unlock The Gate
Switch to Whitenight to disable the barriers. While holding the essence, hit the broken triangular mechanism to unlock the gate.
V. Find Precious Chest
Head straight and you will find a Precious chest waiting to be claimed.
VI. Switch Back To Evernight And Activate Mural
Activate the Mural on the wall to reveal the symbols. This can only be done in Evernight.
VII. Teleport To Serpent's Heart And Solve The Puzzle

Go to Serpent's Heart and warp through the blue doorways in the sequence shown above. The order is based on the number of triangles for each symbol.
VIII. Defeat the Ruin Guards
If you did the sequence correctly, the Ruin Guards should awaken. Defeat them and you will be able to claim the Luxurious Chest.
