Kito and Kina - How To Unlock And Start
Must Complete Whole Sumida Tsurumi Island Quest Line
Since the Illusions or Ghosts will only appear upon completing the Sumida Tsurumi Island Quest Line, it's necessarily to complete it first. It's a time-gated quest line and will require 4 days to complete.

Start By Talking To Kito and Kina
Since this is not really a quest, there won't be a marker as to where you can start it. Simply head to Kito and Kina's location on an island west of Autake Plains.

Kito and Kina - All Locations
Locate & Give Sakura Blooms To Kito & Kina
Kito and Kina will change their location every time you find them. Whenever you see them, make sure to give them a Sakura Bloom so they can move on to the next location. This quest will be complete once you've reached their last location.
Talking To Una Before Finding Kito & Kina Is Recommended
You will receive Sakura Blooms when you talk to Una which will be required in this quest.

Kito and Kina will appear following the pattern of the map above. After talking and giving them Sakura blooms, they will move to the next location.
1. West Of Autaka Plains

You can first spot them at the island located on the west of Autake Plains. There is a huge Stone monument in the island use that as a mark.
2. South Of Chirai Shrine

The next location is at the south of the warp point in Chirai Shrine. It is hard to miss.
3. In Autaka Plains

The third location is at the mountain side of Autake.

Follow the river to get to the forth location of Kito and Kina easily.
5. North Of Mt. Kanna

Final location can be accessed from the north of Mr. Kanna. There is a cave that you can enter. Enter the cave to find the final location.
