Best Teams For Clorinde
Team Recommendations For Clorinde
| Team | Rating Description |
|---|---|
| ▼ Overload | ★★★★★ - With the help of Chevreuse, a pure Overload team consisting of only Electro and Pyro characters has the ability to deal convincing DPS thanks to the abundance of buffs provided by most versions of this comp. - Clorinde is one among the many Pyro or Electro On-Field DPSes who has great synergy with an Overload team, more so thanks to her flexibility since she doesn't have kit restrictions that prevent her from being played this way. - When combined with the benefits gained from a Hexerei duo consisting of Durin and another Hex teammate, the Overload team becomes Clorinde's best performing comp, especially if you want to highlight her personal damage. |
| ▼ Lunar-Charged | ★★★★・ - Like other On-Field DPSes, Clorinde can be deployed alongside the infamous Columbina and Ineffa pairing and find good enough results thanks to the already impressive, combined damage output of the two. - Clorinde's own DPS makes up a smaller portion of the total team damage since Columbina's buffs are catered towards Lunar reactions, which Ineffa naturally deals more of. - Still a fairly strong setup for Clorinde, even if she functions more as On-Field Driver rather than a traditional main DPS. |
| ▼ Hyperbloom | ★★★・・ - A setup that combines the additional damage granted by Hyperbloom with another Dendro reaction called Aggravate, which is triggered by applying Electro to an enemy previously affected by Dendro and Electro. - Aggravate increases the damage dealt by an Electro attack, and since Clorinde has several multi-hit moves, she has obvious synergy with this comp. - Hyperblooms are also a Dendro reaction that produces homing-type single target attacks that result in a decent DPS boost by overall. - The performance of this Dendro team (and other similar setups) is now sub-par when compared to other comps due to Dendro reactions, apart from Lunar Bloom, largely falling out of favor in terms of meta. |

White mode Durin's Off-Field Pyro application and RES Shred plays both smoothly and consistently alongside Clorinde's own Electro application in her Night Vigil state, which translates to more Overload triggers and longer uptime on Chevreuse's Electro and Pyro RES Shred.
The average gameplay loop that this team typically has should be fairly comfortable in both synergy and buff activation, and even more so when you include Nicole, whose shield allows Clorinde to avoid interruption while executing her Night Vigil combos.
Overload Team Rotation
| No. | Procedure |
|---|---|
| 1 | Start with Chevreuse. Deploy her Burst first to activate the Noblesse Oblige set, then use her Skill (hold). |
| 2 | Swap to Nicole. Use her Skill. Burst is optional. |
| 3 | Switch to Durin. Use his Skill twice to enter Dragon of White Flame form, then Burst. |
| 4 | On-Field Clorinde. You can start her combo with her Burst if it's available. Use her Skill to enter her special State. Start doing Normal Attacks until you reach 100% Bond of Life. Use her Skill again once it becomes available after reaching 100% Bond of Life. └ One optimal combo should be: Burst → Skill (can cast it twice if you're already at 100% Bond of Life) → [ Normal Attack x3 → Skill ] x6 |
| 5 | Repeat from step 1. |

Nicole | Fischl Thoma Ineffa Iansan | - Despite being the most comfortable option, Nicole's spot on the team is very replaceable, especially if you don't find it hard to navigate combat in Clorinde's Skill stance without being interrupted. - Fischl is the best alternative since she allows you to maintain the Hexerei Resonance effect for stronger RES shred from Durin, while also having the full DMG% buff from the Celestial Gift set. - Other options can range from a different Pyro or Electro shielder, or an appropriate ATK% buffer that can keep up with Clorinde's mobile playstyle. - Note that you will lose the Hex benefits without another Hexerei teammate, so you can cpnsider having Durin use a different Artifact set instead. |
Durin | Mavuika Pyro Traveler Xiangling Thoma | - Losing Durin disables Nicole's Hexerei status, so it's recommended to swap Nicole out of Celestial Gift if you don't have Durin on the team. - Since Durin functions as the primary Pyro applicator on the team, other similar Off-Field Pyro damage dealers or applicators can take his place, just expect slightly worse results since you lose Durin's personal damage, RES shred and the full DMG% buff from Celestial Gift. |
Chevreuse | Durin | - There is no true alternative for Chevreuse in this type of comp since her RES Shred, ATK% buff and DMG% buffs from her C6 all work together to make her the premiere support for pure Overload teams. - You can maybe fill some of her roles on the team by using only Durin, but the team will have lower damage potential as a result. |
Lunar-Charged Clorinde Team Comp

Clorinde fills the On-Field spot of the Lunar-Charged core consisting of Columbina and Ineffa, a duo that has been known to output high amounts of Off-Field damage that they can be paired with a number of On-Field DPSes and still clear some endgame content consistently.
Despite not being the highlight of the team, Clorinde still contributes her rapid Electro attacks to consistently trigger Lunar-Charged for the purpose of maintaining the thundercloud and generating Gravity stacks for Columbina's Gravity Interference attacks.
Lunar-Charged Team Rotation
| No. | Procedure |
|---|---|
| 1 | Start with Ineffa and use her Skill. Burst is optional. |
| 2 | Switch to Columbina. Skill into Burst. |
| 3 | Switch to Sucrose and use her Skill or Normal Attack (x1) into Burst. └ If you're using Wandering Evenstar, do Normal Attack into Burst instead so you can use her Skill at the end of the rotation. |

Sucrose | Lan Yan Xilonen Kazuha Nahida Bennett | - The fourth slot in the team is the most flexible one, but Sucrose will remain the best choice since her EM sharing and RES Shred via the Viridescent Venerer set will benefit everyone on the team. - Other generic RES Shredders are preferred, but an ATK% buffer like Bennett (just to buff Clorinde) can also suffice if you have no other option. - A Dendro Off-Fielder like Nahida can allow you to trigger Hyperbloom on top of the Lunar-Charged, but note that the added Dendro eats away at the Hydro aura, resulting in less Lunar-Charged procs, thus lowering Ineffa's DPS. |
Ineffa | Ororon Fischl Shinobu | - Ineffa is the biggest damage contributor in the team so replacing her causes adverse effects to the DPS potential. - Other Electro Off-Fielders with consistent application can be considered, but characters with some form of buff that aligns with Lunar-Charged reactions are going to be a bit better. |
Columbina | Aino Yelan Candace (C6) | - Columbina is the best Hydro Lunar-Reaction support, but if you have Ineffa, her place on the team can be substituted with Aino. - Other Hydro characters with serviceable Off-Field application can be serviceable alternatives, but you lose Columbina's potent Lunar reaction buffs and Gravity Interference attacks, so expect the damage potential to be noticeably lower. |
Hyperbloom Clorinde Team Comp

![]() Clorinde | Absolution Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy x4Main ATK% / Electro DMG% Bonus / CRIT Rate or DMG Sub 1. Energy Recharge 2. CRIT Rate or DMG 3. ATK% |

![]() Nahida | A Thousand Floating Dreams Deepwood Memories x4 Main Stat EM / Dendro DMG Bonus / Crit Rate or DMG Sub-Stat 1. Energy Recharge 2. CRIT Rate or DMG 3. Elemental Mastery |
![]() Furina | Splendor of Tranquil Waters└ If you're having trouble charging Furina's Burst every rotation, you can try equipping Fleuve Cendre Ferryman, Favonius Sword, or Festering Desire. Golden Troupe x4└ This is a personal damage option. Equip Tenacity of the Millelith if you want to buff Skirk more. Main Energy Recharge / HP% or Hydro DMG Bonus / CRIT Rate or DMG Sub 1. Energy Recharge 2. CRIT Rate or DMG 3. HP% |
Since Clorinde has self-healing, it's possible to deploy her in a Hyperbloom/Aggravate setup alongside Furina even without the presence of a teamwide healer. Clorinde's personal healing can allow Furina to activate her overheal ability, which can slowly sustain the other two teammates and thus enable Furina to keep generating Fanfare stacks regardless.
Hyperbloom Team Rotation
| No. | Procedure |
|---|---|
| 1 | Start with Furina. Deploy her Skill, then Burst. You can dash after her Skill to cancel the long animation. |
| 2 | Use Nahida's Burst then Skill. |
| 3 | Switch to Fischl and use her Skill or Burst, whichever is currently usable. |

Fischl | Kuki Shinobu Yae Miko | - Fischl fulfills two roles in this team: a Sub-DPS and a Battery. Her personal damage can be fairly decent when boosted by Aggravate, and Oz can generate enough particles needed for Clorinde to use her Burst every rotation. - Kuki is a better replacement if you think the team is too fragile and can benefit from her heals. However, she obviously has lower damage potential than a true Sub-DPS like Fischl. - Yae Miko can deal about as much damage as Fischl, but isn't as effective as her when it comes to generating Energy particles for Clorinde. |
Nahida | Collei Dendro Traveler Yaoyao Baizhu Lauma | - Nahida is currently the best Dendro support for Clorinde in this setup as a result of her EM buff from her Burst and the consistent Dendro application from her Skill. - Other Off-Field Dendro supports can work as a replacement for Nahida, but either their uptime and buffing capability will are significantly weaker. - Baizhu or Yaoyao are notably lesser in buff value, but their healing can allow the team to feel more comfortable, especially if you're using Furina. |
Furina | Yelan Xingqiu Sangonomiya Kokomi Kazuha Sucrose Baizhu | - Furina's DMG% buff from her Fanfare stacks benefit both Clorinde and Fischl's DPS, so she's the best main buffer for the team outside of the Dendro slot. - You can substitute her with other Hydro teammates that have strong Hydro application, but their utility will be lesser when compared to Furina. - Conversely, using a RES Shredder like Kazuha or Sucrose can be an alternative, transforming the comp into a pure Aggravate team which is still viable, just not into most endgame content. - An additional Dendro support might also be considered, if just to help generate Energy for Nahida. |
