Special Mode: Blink Of An Eye - Guide & Tips

Preparation & General Tips

Level Your Mechanicus To The Max

This is the most difficult level of the mini-game. It is almost impossible to clear it without properly leveling up your Mechanicus.

Follow The Following Construction Priority

Priority

The numbers in purple in the picture are the recommended placement priority for mechanicus. Strengthen the point where enemies meet!

Choose Expensive Mystic Arts That Boost Your Mechanicus

Mystic Arts

Power up your mechanicus by choosing expensive Mystic Arts. This may cost you Veneficus Points but it will make your mechanicus destroy monsters a lot faster.

Use The Bridge Gimmick To Help Your Mechanicus

Close Adeptus

When there are a lot of enemies in the bridge, activate it to make them fall down and stop the flow of monsters. Use this frequently to reduce the enemies needed to be defeated by the mechanicus.

Wave 1~4 Mechanicus Placement Tips

Place Pyro + Electro + Mine Near The Exit

Near Exit

To prevent most of the enemies from entering, place the mine in the middle. Make sure to place a replacement Mine when it explodes. Electro and Pyro can trigger overload that pushes enemies back while dealing strong damage.

Place Hydro + Cryo On The Left And Right Side

Hydro & Cryo

This will make the progress of enemies slower enabling them to take more damage before reaching exit point.

Wave 4~8 Mechanicus Placement Tips

Place Anemo Mechanicus Between Cryo & Hydro

Anemo

This will further slower the progress of small mobs making them not able to pass.

Place 2 Mines Near The Exit

Place Mine

Place one mine in one of the slot right infront of the 3 slots in-front of the exit.

Wave 9~10 Mechanicus Placement Tips

Replace Anemo Mechanicus With Mine

Place Mine 2

To stop huge enemies from penetrating your defenses, it is recommended to place bombs to replace the Anemo mechanicus in later waves.
