Complete The Origin Of The Lanterns & Liyue Theater Mechanius

Theater Mechanicus Difficulty 3 will be available after completing Stage 1. But first, unlock the Theater Mechanicus by completing The Origin Of The Lanterns Quest & Liyue: Theater Mechanicus.

Theater Mechanicus Stage 2 (Difficulty 3) - Recommended Mechanicus & Characters

Mechanicus	Effect
Veneficus Mechanicus: Gust	Once deployed, the orientation can be adjusted in the construction menu to attack in different directions. Releases an Anemo attack that knocks the opponents back.
Veneficus Mechanicus: Thin Ice	Periodically fires a Frost Bullet in a straight line. On hit, deals Cryo DMG to opponents.
Veneficus Mechanicus: Tidal Flats	Attack opponents in a small AoE with Water Cannons that deal Hydro DMG and apply the Wet Status.

Max Mechanicus No: 14

Players can only place a maximum of 14 Mechanicus in the Stage. Once that has been filled, you won't be able to place any more Mechanicus until you dismantle one to free space.

Recommended Character Element: Hydro + Cryo

Freezing the enemies will give you a great advantage while doing this challenge for they will stop the movements of enemies giving more time for your mechanicus to deal damage.

Gust Mechanicus Can Push Back Enemies

Make use of this mechanicus to reduce the pace of the enemies. It is recommended to place them in front of the gates. However, they need to be supported by other attacking mechanicus from behind.

Balance Mechanicus Between Two Paths

There will be two gates where wave of enemies will spawn from. It is important to balance the mechanicus for each path.

At The Earlier Waves, It Is Okay To Focus On One Side

For the first wave, while you are still collecting Sigils for mechanicus, it is possible to put more mechanicus on the other side and be the elemental support of the other. Do not forget that you cannot deal damage directly so it is recommended to at least put one damaging mechanicus.

Adjust The Mecha Based On The Element of The Enemies

Change or reconstruct mechanics depending on the element of the enemies in the field. This information will be revealed before the wave start so make sure to check it.
