Moonlit Patrol Exercise is a limited-time event in the Version 6.3 Update. It is part of the Wargame Event series where you use monsters and buffs to fight other players.

Choose Units Based On Stratagems And Abilities
It's recommended to focus on one or two monster factions at a time to utilize the faction-based stratagems. Having all unit types and attack types can help cover weaknesses and strengths.
Build Your Team Around The Captain Unit
Since Captain units often come with a Faction-based Stratagem, you can build a team around the faction they buff. However, some Captains don't have a Faction-based Stratagem. This gives you more freedom when building your team, but will require specific buffs and compositions to fully maximize their capabilities.
Utilize Suppression Relationship
Just like in previous Wargame events, monster units have their own unit and attack types. If you're unsure of your units' or the enemy units' types, you can click on their icons to see their tags. Tags will also indicate if a unit can hit Flying units, which is important as some Ranged units cannot.
Elemental Immunity Also Matters
While enemies in this event don't have specific Resistances like open-world enemies, some of them have Elemental Immunity. Specifically, Elemental Lifeforms and Aberrant Monsters can be immune to certain elements.

 Formation Banner Mechanic | - A special type of buff that activates on the wave it's placed on. - Only one can be used per wave, so consider carefully which to pair with your units and whether it can help counter the opponent's lineup. |
 Captain Stratagem | - Aside from the usual stratagems, a Captain Stratagem includes a Captain unit that acts as an Elite unit. - Captain Stratagems have a specific buff for their monster type, so you can form a team based on that type. |
Wargame Points Cap Increase Daily
Similar to other points-based events, each simulation will grant you a set amount of points based on your performance. There's a points cap of 2,000 at the start of the event, which increases from the 4th day up to a maximum of 4,000.
10 Rounds Per Run with 4 Lives
Each simulation run lasts up to 10 rounds and you have 4 lives. You lose one life for each loss. Winning 7 times unlocks Endless Wargame mode, where you can battle endlessly but can no longer upgrade your units.
