Freeze Is Not Effective
Abyss Lector: Fathomless Flames can only be frozen in the first phase and it is immune to Freeze when it is reborn due to its consistent Pyro self-application so using Freeze comp is not that effective.
Trigger Other Elemental Reactions
It is recommended to use a lineup that can trigger Overload & Crystallize. The reactions can forcefully switch the opposing character & produce shield points.
TCG Elemental Reactions & EffectsAutomatically Defeated When Shield Point Reaches 0
The Abyss Lector: Fathomless Flames is automatically defeated when its shield point reaches 0. While the shield point is active, refrain from using a Normal Attack unless it can deal elemental DMG that can react with Pyro.
Use Characters With Summoned Unit
During the reborn phase of Abyss Lector: Fathomless Flames, it gains 2 shield points which can only be dispelled by triggering elemental reactions regardless of the damage. Summoned units is excellent in this case since you only need to trigger an elemental reaction.
