Vishaps and Where to Find Them is an expedition-focused event released last Mar 5, 2021. Send your characters to expeditions and claim rewards once they are completed!
Released In 1.3 Update
Along with the Lantern Rite Festival, Vishaps and Where to Find Them was added into the game with the released of the 1.3 Update.

Speak To Katheryne At Liyue's Adventure Guild
To initiate the event quest & access the event functions, speak to Katheryne at the Adventurer Guild in Liyue Harbor. Take note that you need to be at least ADV Rank 20 to be able to join this event.

Earn Rewards By Sending Characters On Expeditions
Rewards, including Primogems and Hero's Wit, await travelers in the Vishaps and Where to Find Them Event. Dispatch your characters to expeditions to get different rewards by completing them!
Can Dispatch 4 Times Each Day
You can send character to a total of 4 expeditions each day. Once you've reached that limit, you won't be able to send anymore for the day so choose wisely on which expeditions to take.
You Cannot Send Same Characters In Different Investigation At The Same Time
Characters can only go at one expedition every time so make sure to check the number of all of your characters and think before sending them off.
Aim For 100% Bonus Reward Chance
For maximum rewards, make sure that each expedition reach 100%. To do this it is recommended to set the friend's character first and use your characters to make it reach 100%.
Choose A Friend Support For More Bonuses

The higher the level of your character, the greater the Bonus Reward Chance percentage the character provides.
Use Characters From Recommended Elements
Each dispatch has random recommended elements that will increase the bonus percentage. Make sure to follow the recommended element to maximize the percentage your character can give.
Make Sure To Set Your Character Showcase
Provide more options to your friends and help each other by inserting characters of various elements in your profile. Edit it through the Paimon's menu! Characters of various elements with high level is recommended.

Complete Vishap Tracking Mission First
Upon the start of the event, you will receive a quest asking you to head to Liyue Harbor and talk to Katheryne. Completing this will allow you to open the Vishaps and Where to Find Them tab in the Expedition Page.
Send Out Characters On Expedition

Every day, you can select up to 4 Expeditions to complete from Katheryne at Liyue Harbor. These missions are basically the same as normal expeditions where you need to wait for the timer to complete and get the rewards.
Prioritize Mission Rank
The higher the rank of the Expedition, the better of the rewards. It's recommended to get 1 S rank, 2 A ranks, and 1 B rank every day to get the most rewards!
Dispatch 2 - 4 Characters & 1 Friend Support
You can send a minimum of 2 characters and a maximum of 4 per expedition. You can also select a character from your friends to add to the your expedition and increase the chance of getting the bonus rewards.

Bounties Are Also Available
While doing expeditions, you will unlock a daily bounty that will give you additional rewards. Fight and defeat Geovishaps for generous rewards!
Bounties Are Released Daily
If you check on the lower left side of the Vishaps and Where You Find Them tab, you can see the On The Hunt icon where you can start any available bounties. It will also show you the time until the next one is unlocked.
Must Defeat Geovishap
To get the reward, you will need to defeat the Geovishap you find there. Try to adjust to the Geovishap's element and use elemental attacks that it is is weak at.

After talking to Katheryne and accepting the bounty, head to the specific location and defeat the Geovishap to get various rewards!
