Pre-Download on February 25th

The digital version of Monster Hunter Wilds will be available on February 25, 2025. Pre-download starts at 7:00 AM PST for PS5 and Xbox, and 9:00 PM PST for Steam. Since it may take time, pre-downloading in advance is recommended.

PS5 & Xbox Releases on 2/27 7:00 AM PST

PS5 and Xbox versions will be released on February 25, 2025, at 7:00 AM PST. If pre-downloaded, you can start playing immediately.

Steam (PC) Releases on 2/27 9:00 PM PST

The Steam version releases on February 27, 2025, at 9:00 PM PST (Tuesday), 14 hours after the PS5 and Xbox versions. Be sure to pre-download it in advance.

How to Pre-Download

PS5 Pre-Download & Storage

Go to PlayStation Store

Pre-download date	February 25, 2025, 7:00 AM PST (Tuesday)
Required Storage	~53GB

Open the PlayStation Store from the PS5 home screen and go to the page where you purchased Monster Hunter Wilds. The required storage space is approximately 53 GB, so make sure you have enough space beforehand.

Select Countdown Button

After opening the Monster Hunter Wilds page, select the button with the countdown to the release date.

Select Automatic Downloads & Complete

The screen will switch to automatic download selection; if you select "All," the download will automatically start on February 25, 2025, at 7:00 AM PST (Tuesday).

Steam (PC) Pre-Download & Storage

Open Steam and Select Library

Pre-download date	February 25, 2025, 9:00 PM PST (Tuesday)
Required Storage	~75 GB

Once you've purchased Monster Hunter Wilds, check your library to download it. It requires approximately 75 GB of storage, so ensure you have enough space beforehand.

Select Preload

The Preload button is available since February 25, 2025, 9:00 PM PST.
