How To Unlock
You will need to progress with the Archon Quest in Inazuma if you want to participate in the event. Complete the "Ritou Escape Plan" sub-quest in order to be eligible for the event.

What Is Eight Locales Over Mountains And Seas?
Eight Locales Over Mountains And Seas is an event featuring a Bake-Tanuki. Travelers are tasked to travel with a Bake-Tanuki. During this event, you can travel to different locations where Bake-Tanuki does not exist and take a picture with it.
Event Guidelines
At Ioroi's request, you take Kichiboushi out to see the world. However, being a tanuki, Kichiboushi is liable to turn into various other objects while on this little adventure. Observe your surroundings well and don't lose sight of him!

Head to the location just north of the Chinju Forest to talk to Ioroi and start the event quest. Continue with the cutscene event until you are tasked to travel with Kichiboushi.
First Location - Snowswept Fairytale

| 3 | Light up the torch (Transformed Tanuki) with Pyro. |

| 5 | Melt the block of ice (Transformed Tanuki) near the ruin brazier. |
| 6 | Take a picture of Kichiboushi. |
| 7 | Defeat The Great Snowboar King. |
| 8 | Report back to Ioroi to complete the quest. |

After you take a picture of Kichiboushi, The Great Snowboar King will appear so be prepared for a fight. Try to dodge its charging attacks and hit it while it's vulnerable!
