Substantially Stealth Buffed
Since the first update, the conditions under which Maximum Might's effect deactivates have changed. Previously, the effect would deactivate if Stamina was consumed for a cumulative total of 1 second, but after the update, if Stamina is refilled to full within 2 seconds, the effect will not deactivate. This means that for a single Evade, the effect can now be maintained even without "Second Wind".
Possibility of a Bug
The adjustments in the official changelog did not include any updates for Maximum Might. Therefore, it's possible that this is a bug rather than an intended change.

The activation condition for Maximum Might in Monster Hunter Wilds is to maintain full Stamina for 3 seconds. As long as Stamina can be maintained, Affinity can be permanently increased so it's exceptionally compatible with weapon types that consume little Stamina.

After Maximum Might activates, if Stamina is not full for 2 seconds, the effect will deactivate. For Stamina consumed by a single Evade, Stamina will become full before 2 seconds pass so the effect can be maintained.
Effect is Maintained by Second Wind

"Second Wind," which activates with Guardian Fulgur Equipment, is an effect that grants an additional Stamina gauge. Maximum Might will not deactivate even if the Stamina increased by this effect is consumed. If used in conjunction with "Constitution", it becomes easier to maintain Maximum Might even with consecutive Evades.

Extremely Good with Weapons That Don't Use Stamina
An Affinity increase of 30% at Lv3 is exceptional and the activation condition is simply maintaining Stamina, making it simple and immediately effective. For weapons with low Stamina consumption, it is considered to be one of the strongest among Affinity-related skills.
