How to Get Fucium Ore
Mining Outcrops in Ruins of Wyveria
An efficient way to obtain Fucium Ore in Monster Hunter Wilds is to mine at Ruins of Wyveria in High Rank. The route above involves gathering from the top, upper, and middle layers, along with the Mining Outcrop near the Pop-Up Camp in Area 13. The Mining Outcrop in Area 15 is far off, so skipping it is fine.
Unlocked After Chapter 4-3
Ruins of Wyveria High Rank is unlocked after clearing Chapter 4-3 at HR 20. You cannot enter High Rank fields before then, so progress through the story.

Pop_Up Camp in Area 13
To collect Fucium Ore efficiently, set up a Pop-Up Camp in Area 13 of Ruins of Wyveria before starting. Directions to the Pop-Up Camp are in the image above.
Geologist Level 3 is Recommended
Skills such as Geologist increase the number of ores obtained by 1 at level 3. The Geologist skill can be activated with the Chainmail equipment set, which is available at the start of the game.
Gatherer Meal Skill isn't Required
Gatherer Meal does not always guarantee the number of items gained will increase. Additionally, Truffle Du Conga is a difficult ingredient to obtain, so it is not required to activate this skill.

Accept a Optional Quest in Ruins of Wyveria. Any quest with a difficulty of 5-stars and above will work.
Gather Fucium Ore
Follow the route in the image above to go around the Ruins of Wyveria and gather Fucium Ore from 9 Mining Outcrops. Fucium Ore is not a guaranteed item and can be obtained from Mining Outcrops.
Glide to the Third Mining Outcrop

You can move to the third Mining Outcrop in the upper layer using Seikret's Glide. The key is to use the tip of the tree as an indicator. However, there is a risk of falling, so you may want to slow down or stop to reorient yourself.
Return From Quest
Select "Return from Quest" after gathering all the Mining Outcrops. If you accept another Optional Quest, the Mining Outcrops will respawn. Return to step 3 and follow the route.
