Collected From Bonepiles
A great way to collect Tough Guardian Bone in Monster Hunter Wilds is by searching through Bonepiles in the Ruins of Wyveria. Follow the route above to efficiently collect Tough Guardian Bone. It is recommended to set up a Pop-Up Camp in Area 8 for ease of access.
Accept an Optional Quest
Once you have gathered a Bonepile, it will take some time to respawn. If you accept an Optional Quest, the Bonepile will be available immediately. Select any Optional Quest in Ruins of Wyveria, collect the nodes, then return and repeat the quest.

Tough Guardian Bone is a material that can only be gathered in Ruins of Wyveria. It is available in both High Rank and Low Rank, so there is no need to worry about story progression or Optional Quest difficulties.

Geologist level 1 increases the amount of bones gathered. The Chainmail Equipment set is provided at the start of the game. Once you reach Geologist level 3, you will also obtain extra items when collecting from Mining Outcrops.
