Obtain by Smelting

In Monster Hunter Wilds, by speaking to Roqul at the camp in Oilwell Basin, you can smelt unneeded materials to obtain Armor Spheres. The higher the rank of the materials, the more points you can earn through smelting, so it's recommended to gather materials from high-rank quests for better smelting results.

Defeat Nu Udra in the Story

To unlock Smelting Foundry, you need to progress the story until you defeat Nu Udra. Nu Udra is fought at the end of Chapter 2, so make sure to advance to that point first.

Obtain from Limited Bounty

You can obtain Armor Sphere items through the Limited Bounties available at the Support Desk. These bounties require an online connection to claim, but they also offer other valuable items. Be sure to check the distribution bounties regularly to not miss out on rewards.

Gather by Farming 7 Star Quests

Heavy Armor Spheres can be obtained as rewards from star 7 quests. It is also recommended to gather materials for Artian weapons at the same time.

Use to Strengthen Armor

The Heavy Armor Sphere is a material required for armor enhancement. When used in the Smithy’s armor enhancement, it adds enhancement points to the armor, and once a certain amount of points accumulate, the armor will level up. The rarer the Armor Sphere, the more enhancement points you will receive.
