How To Unlock Beetle Brawl Event
Complete Event Quest
Typically, you need to complete the initial event quest before you can participate in the actual event. Complete the Arataki Extraordinary and Exhilarating Extreme Beetle Brawl! quest to proceed.

Combat Tips
Charge Energy
Hold the forward button for Onikabuto to charge energy. This consumes stamina the longer you hold the forward button.
Piercing Strike
Release the forward button to rush forward. When Onikabuto reaches the opponent's exact position, it can perform a Piercing Strike. This can deal even more damage.
Observe The Distance
Keep your eye on the opponent when charging and also note the rush distance to land a Piercing Strike.
Challenge Difficulties
There are 3 available difficulties for each challenge: Friendly Spar, Honed Will, & Fantastic Passion. In order to unlock the Fantastic Passion difficulty, you need to win in the Honed Will difficulty first.

Super-Heavy Defensive Formation Tips
Piercing Strike To Remove Shield
Most of the time, Super-Heavy Defensive Formation has a shield and you cannot deal any damage to it as long as the shield is active so perform a piercing strike to break it.
Avoid Quake Attack
The range of this attack is slightly wide so observe your distance so you can avoid it easily.
Cancel Quake Attack
You can cancel out the quake attack if you are able to land a piercing strike just before the attack.
Whirling Wrecker-Wheel Tips
Piercing Strike To Move The Electro Ball
At some point, Whirling Wrecker-Wheel summons an unmoving Electro ball. This deals damage to the beetle when hit so if this gets summoned, perform a piercing strike to make it move toward the enemy.
Ironclad Beetle King Tips
Similar Attacks
You can easily counter familiar attacks from Ironclad Beetle King since the attacks are similar to the prior beetles.
Move Backwards If Electro Ball Is Moving To You
If the Electro ball has been summoned and starts to move toward you, move backward until you reach a safe distance. The Electro ball can only travel up to 2 blocks.
