Recommended Methods

There are three efficient methods to collect Specklite: Festival Share, Gravios Hunts, and Tempered Arkveld Hunts. Each method offers unique benefits, so choose the one that best suits your playstyle.

Cannot Be Rerolled

With the update on March 9th, it is no longer possible to collect Specklite through Quest rerolling. Instead, you can rest at any camp to increase Festival Shares. However, it will cost 300 Guild Points each time.

Gravios Farming Method

Increases Your HR at the Same Time

If you repeatedly complete the Gravios Optional Quest "Armor Like a Mountain" using the Artian Water Heavy Bowgun, you can efficiently gather monster materials for crafting and raise your Hunter Rank (HR) at the same time. While some preparation is required, the quest can be cleared in about 1–2 minutes, and since it's an Optional Quest, you can attempt it as many times as you like.

HR can also be Raised at the same time

Gravios by orbiting the Optional Quest "Armor Like a Mountain" with Artian Water Heavy Bowgun, you can collect monster materials used for smelting and raise your HR at the same time. Although it requires a little preparation in advance, You can defeat it in about 1 to 2 minutes, and since it is an Optional Quest, you can do it as many times as you like.

Tempered Arkveld Method

Acquire Artian Parts While Farming

Arkveld has the highest refinement points per part amongst all monsters in Monster Hunter Wilds. Additionally, defeating a Tempered Arkveld can result in acquiring Rare 8 Artian parts along with other materials. If you are interested in refining and Artian parts, we recommend this method.

Save Quests with Guaranteed Arkveld Gems

Occassionally, some quests may appear that guarantee an Arkveld Gem upon completion. Prioritize taking or saving these quests since you can exchange these gems for 1,000 points each.

Prioritize Crafting Armor

High-rank Arkveld materials can be used to create excellent equipment. These materials can be used for high-rank Arkveld equipment and high-ranked Guardian Arkveld equipment, so we recommend first using the materials to craft your preferred armor before using them as refining materials.

Festival Share

Rest at Oilwell Basin With Inclemency

When Inclemency in Oilwell Basin ends, the number of Festival Shares increases. If you set the environment to Inclemency at the Oilwell Basin Base Camp and rest repeatedly, you will increase the amount of materials obtained. Note that each rest will cost 300 Guild Points, so prepare a large amount of Guild Points.

Specklite - How to Get

Obtain from Smelting in Azuz, the Everforge

In Monster Hunter Wilds, Specklite can be obtained through smelting at Azuz, the Everforge. Each smelting requires 100 points worth of monster materials.

Obtain by Chance in Festival Shares

Specklite can also be obtained through Festival Shares. However, the materials that appear are random, so it's not guaranteed every time. High-rank materials like Oricalcite may also appear.

Effect of Specklite

Used to Upgrade Artian Weapons

Specklite is used to enhance Artian weapons. You can strengthen it by selecting Restore Strengthening in Smithy and using reinforcement materials from Restore.

Specklite is the third highest material in the restoration enhancement materials. It increases the enhancement value of Artian weapons by 100 points.

Requires 150 Pieces to Max Out the Enhancement of a Rare 8 Weapon

Rare 8 Artian weapons have a range of enhancements from 1 to 5, and each level requires an enhancement value of 3,000 points. The enhancement value of one Specklite is 100 points, so if you want to strengthen it to the maximum, you will need to consume 150 Specklite.
