Clorinde was first shown during the The Final Feats (Fontaine Trailer). She is known as a Champion Duelist due to her amazing battle skills. The developer stated that she is the type of girl that Childe wants to have a duel with.
The One Who Defeated Navia's Father
Due to the false allegations against Navia's father, Callas chooses to have a duel with Clorinde instead of facing a trial. Clorinde stated that upon battling Callas, she noticed that Callas was not willing not defend himself, nor had any intention to live. This was confirmed by Clorinde during the trial, which also explains the cold treatment towards Clorinde in the first half of the As Light Rain Falls Without Reason quest.

Clorinde's quite famous as a Champion Duelist. But from what I've read in the papers, she seems to have gotten into a bit of a pickle. The media's been all over her story, and she's... Well, she's the type that definitely doesn't enjoy that kind of attention.
I was once ordered to observe a duel of hers. Even just as a bystander, the coldness radiating from her was absolutely chilling... I don't know what it would be like to face her directly in a duel, and I hope I will never find out.
