Multiple locus can be in a single blue circle!

I found 2 just now. Different locations. The circle went away when it showed the 2nd one.

To the one below me; there is one extra geoculus on the map, you're probably missing that spare.

Does anyone know how the areas work for the resonance stones? I mean does it look in a radius around you? Or does it search in a part of the map that you are in. In that case how is the map divided into those areas?
