I saw a video on the powers that could be displayed, one was called 'quantum' (dark) and the other being 'imaginary' (light). I see Dainslief being a quantum user with his power being from the abyss.

He's so attractive I will wait the 10 years to get him.

I think he channels abyss energy, which would make sense since the people of khaenri'ah turned into abyss mages (with the exception of a few like Dainsleif), so him having abyss powers is somewhat of a possibility.

he will either use “abyssal” energy or darkness, the opposite of Aether and Lumines true element, which is light. since he is supposedly the heir to the Kingdom of Darkness.

Definitely new element, but I like to think he will turn himself into a sword, just like his name and pattern on the cape shows :D

New element, abyss element. Maybe the traveler would be able to use it once the story resolves with the sibling

I think, his power would be darkness or abyss power.

I bet he won't have an element since he's from khaenri'ah. They did say that khaenri'ah didn't worship a god so that means they have no need for visions and the like.. in my opinion.

Guys let's vote for a new element like shadow or void, u know something new like aren't u all tired of playing with the same elements( well, except dendro rly wanna get 1 of those).

So either, he's a playable character with a new element, or he is just a boss/NPC. Also, here's to hoping he's a scythe user :D

He shares similarities to the ley lines, but I think it would be a far stretch to call him Dendro. He definitely has some relation to them, but is most likely not a Dendro.

I think he will have a new element that is similar to how Quantum works in HI3rd . Maybe related to the abyss or time. He bears no resemblance of being any of the elements we've seen so far.

If someone played honkai impact there's a quantum element, so i was thinking maybe he's going to be different than the others

tbh I feel like he won’t need a vision. After all he’s from Kheanri’ah. If you think about it Kheanri’ah was highly advanced in alchemy, so his power most likely comes from alchemy.

I think he’ll be an electro character. He will probably have blue lightning instead of purple like the rest

what if he actually dont have vision element. A character with physical skills only. if so, then aquila favonia is truly for him

I'm pretty sure he'll be an OP pyro character.
Also bear in mind - fire can be blue if the temperature is high enough, so a blue-flame Pyro Dainsleif should not be unrealistic (especially given the strength of Pyro + how he appears on his sprite).

I think that his powers will be similar to dilucs father or just a normal vision.

Maybe his element is actually dendro? He is the Bough keeper and his right arm, leg and the side of his face a little under his mask look like they've been contaminated by something root-like... It'd be really cool and another reason they haven't released him yet :>

I think he is like Paimon, Travel Guide of Traveler He keeps mentioning about his adventure companion (theoretically Lumine*Antago) and his cape really resembles Paimons
