After 2 years experience using Thoma C6 in floor 12, I can say Thoma is garbage as pyro subdps, & as shielder only can hold 1-2 big hit from floor 12 boss.
Thoma better build as Burgeon DPS (stack many EM + 200 ER)

The amount of typos in this article is doing Thoma a disservice :(

suomynonA20, do you have low cons or skill issues? Thoma isn't great at c0. C4 is where he starts to get good. For skill issues, make sure his shields are stacked for full strength. I have mine at c6 and he works perfectly in Abyss, and is the sole reason I'm in no hurry to pull Zhongli.

I just bring Thoma with HP-ER build to floor 12-2 and 12-3 and protection from him is bad, the entire damage from his burst also disappointing.

1) In the section of appearing banners it says he appeared in yoimiya's banner but he didn't
2) Retracing bolide is awesome if youre going for dps thoma

Why is 4 pc Emblem his best set?
1. Get as much Energy Recharge as possible for Thoma
2. Have Burst always charged
3. Each hit of his Burst deals Pyro Damage and creates a shield

i dont know if people can read, but 4p Tenacity wouldn't work on Thoma since it needs ELEMENTAL SKILL DAMAGE, and Thoma's off-field dmg came from his BURST.

Yes, 4 pc Tenacity is his best set, no matter the build. Also, if someone is going for a more DMG focused build (which I recommend, because his shield is not that strong), then I suggest going for an ER sands, to make better use of the 4 pc bonus of this set. :)

I think 4pc Tenacity works in him well (for a full shielder support) Full HP% with ER

I use him with Shogun, Mona/Barbara, and Kazuha and its such a devastating combo for a team comp

Full PV and ER is the best I think !
Also, don't really know if it's could be a meta team, but i play him in this team :

Eula main dps
Ei sub DPS
Benett support ATK (for boost)
Thoma support PV for shield and elemental resonance

And honestly, it's quite fun !

Shouldn't 2 piece emblem, 2 piece mileth be one of the recommended sets? He doesn't do much damage/apply pyro fast, imo it's better to build him for strong shields by building HP.

Thoma cant apply pyro fast enough for childe to vape every hit tho

I bet he would go well with Xiao, as he is one of the only characters other than const 4 Albedo that can buff plunge attack damage. I'm thinking Xiao, Thoma, Bennett, Zhongli... One day I might get high constellation Albedo... one day...
