The 4.1 Update is scheduled to be released on September 27, 2023. The update will start at 6AM Server Time and can last a few hours before it is live.

Ruins Of An Experiment

A location wherein Hydro Cubes float in the air, this new area was said to have been turned that way due to a failed experiment by the Fontaine Research Institute Of Kinetic Energy.

Fortress Of Meropide

Considered as Fontaine's Prison, the Fortress of Meropide is actually where exiles come and gather. It exhibits a very steampunk aesthetic with its structures being made primarily of pipes, gears, and steam-valves.

Credit Coupon

A new in-game currency that can only be used inside the Fortress of Meropide.

4.1 Update - New Materials

New Fontaine Creatures & Collectibles

Name	Details
Subdetection Unit	A Detection Units produced by the Institute using new models of artificed components. This creature monitors all kinds of environmental data.
Lumitoile	A soft-bodied animal that emits a gentle light. This creature can be found on building walls near the water or underwater.

New Drop Materials From Enemies & Bosses

With two new bosses and two additional enemies, you can expect new materials to be added in the game. It's highly likely that Neuvillette or Wriothesley will use these new materials.
