How To Defeat The Thorny Cyst
Use Characters With High Health
Since this is underwater, having a character with a high HP would be better since you can't heal underwater. Being near the Thorny Cyst will also drain your health continuously.
Have Healing Food Equipped
You can't use characters to heal underwater and the only option you have is to use healing food. Make sure to have your NRE equipped before going to fight it.
Switch Out Characters Before They All Faint
When you're characters have almost all fainted, make sure to switch out characters to have another full pool of health. Just make sure to do this when there are no enemies around.
Attacks & Tips
Make Use Of The Xenochromatic Jellyfish Bombs
Hold down the ability to be able to throw Jelly bombs you can detonate. This will make it easier to take out the Tendrils and attack the Thorny Cyst.
Destroy The Glowing Tendrils With Jelly Bombs
Only the glowing tendrils can be destroyed so you have to find them first. You can then use the jelly bomb to destroy them.
Attack The Thorny Cist When All Of Its Tendrils Are Destroyed
Once a certain number orall of the Thorny Cyst's tendrils are down, you can then proceed to directly attack its circular body. The Jelly bombs deal a ton of damage and you can easily destroy it so long as you work fast enough.
