New Changes In 5.5 Update

According to the 01/22 Developer's Discussion, a new change will be added to the Sanctifying Elixir and Artifact Transmuter in the 5.5 Update. Starting from then, crafted Artifacts are guaranteed to receive at least 2 enhancements to their chosen sub-stats.

Guaranteed Enhancements For Chosen Sub-Stats

Crafted Artifacts are set to receive at least 2 enhancements to the chosen sub-stats when the artifact is leveled up to 20. This guarantees that the sub-stat and artifact will be more in tune to the player's need! It is recommended to save your Sanctifying Elixir while waiting for this update.

Select The Main & Minor Stats For An Artifact

The Sanctifying Elixir is an item that will allow players customize an artifact of their choosing. With the Sanctifying Elixir, you will be able to create an artifact with the desired main stat and two desired sub-stats.

Done Via Artifact Transmuter

To make use of the Sanctifying Elixir and change an artifact, you will need to do it with the use of the Artifact Transmuter. This gadget can be obtained by completing tasks in the Adventurer's Handbook.

Amount Required Is Dependent On The Artifact Piece

The amount of Sanctifying Elixir needed to customize an artifact varies depending on the artifact piece. This is due to some artifact pieces (Flower and Feather) with set main stats so you can only customize their sub-stats.

Players can get up to 3 Sanctifying Elixirs from opening Secret Trovers around Natlan. To open these Secret Troves, you will need the right Obisidian Rings for them.

Extract From Unwanted Upgraded Artifacts

Make use of the Artifact Transmuter to extract Sanctifying Elixir. This will require sacrificing upgraded Artifacts to get them. The amount of Elixir you can extract from this is limited and resets after a certain amount of time. You can only create one Elixir per cycle.
