Introduced In Version 1.4 Of The Game
Oceanid event is a new event Guide introduced in Genshin Impact version 1.4. It includes a monster catching mini-game and a new boss to battle.

Complete everything in the event and you will get to keep the Little Oceanid as your companion! This is similar to the little Seelie that was given a few events back.
Wishful Drops - Should You Use Resin?
You Can Opt To Use Resin In This Event To Get More Rewards
Unlike Recent Events, You can claim using Heart of the Spring event item or 40 fragile resins in this event.
A Better Way For EXP Materials & Friendship Level Farming
Rhodeia of Wishful Drops gives around 20% more EXP Books and 5 more friendship EXP compared to using Leylines to farm for EXP books. If you plan on using your resin for leylines, it is recommended to battle and use it on Rhodeia instead.
Wishful Drops - How To Catch Oceanid Creatures?
Use Inquisitive Endora To Capture Oceanid Creatures
Equip Inquisitive Endora and head to the exploration area. While in the exploration area, tap the gadget button to change your Elemental Skill to Endora's skill. Use that skill to capture Oceanid Creatures.
Head Close To The Monster For Easy Capturing
For easier aim, it is recommended to head close to the monster. However, take note that Oceanid monsters attack you so make sure to bring heals and shields.
Each Oceanid Monster Increases Progress By 6.7%
Capturing monsters will increase your progress by around 6 percent. To max the progress, you need to capture 15 monsters.
Defeating Oceanid Monster Will Not Increase The Progress
Take note that attacking the monsters and killing them will not increase your progress. Make sure to use the Inquisitive Endora for your quest.

Will Have Its Own Event Challenge - Raging Rhodeia
The highlight of the event, players will be able to challenge Rhodeia or the Oceanid herself! It will not be an easy fight as she will have a new set of abilities to fight you with.
Unlocked After By Finishing Area 1 of Endora's Education
Before you can fight Rhodeia, you will need to help the Little Oceanid first. Capture Oceanid creatures until your progress reach 100% to unlock the event boss.
Can Be Fought In Coop Mode
Find it hard to beat Rhodeia for yourself? Bring some friends along to fight her with through coop mode!
Get Materials From Beating Rhodeia
You can get a number of different materials from defeating Rhodeia. However, you will need to use Original Resin or Heart Of The Spring to claim them.

There will be characters that will have increased damage and apply damage reduction to Rhodeia when fighting it. It's recommended to have these characters into your party.
