The Genshin Impact Version 6.2 update "Luna 3" is expected to be released on December 3, 2025 as revealed on the recent livestream.

Pre-installation will be available on December 1, 2025, two (2) days before the Update happens. Pre-installing the update allows players to start playing the new version immediately after maintenance ends, saving time and reducing download delays on launch day.

| A being born from the fusion of two sides of the same coin, which was a process overseen by Albedo and the other Hexenzirkel members. One half is Rhinedottir's creation, the other half is from a story brought to life by Andersdotter or "M" as it was shown in the events of Simulanka. |

| - Has two modes or states that he can switch into after activating his Elemental Skill. His damage is mostly dealt through his Elemental Burst that deals Off-Field Pyro DMG. - Denial of Darkness state is accessed by doing a Normal Attack after his Skilll, this increases the Vaporize and Melt DMG of his Burst, which persists on the active character in the form of Pyro projectiles. - Confirmation of Purity state turns his Elemental Burst into a field that follows the active character and applies AoE Pyro onto enemies. After triggering a reaction, this state also decreases the Elemental RES shred of both Pyro and the other Element in said reaction. - Has his own Hexerei passive after completing the Witch's Homework task. |

6.2 (Luna 3) Update - Witch's Homework
Old Characters Will Be Buffed
In the 6.2 (Luna 3) Version update, a certain set of old characters will be receiving direct buffs to their abilities, which can be done by completing tasks given through the Witch's Homework system.
Buffed characters are called 'Hexerei' and can unlock a Hexerei: Secret Rite Effect when any 2 other Hexerei characters are in the party. This effect will include new abilities and mechanics added on top of their existing kit.

A new Archon Quest will release with the 6.2 (Luna 3) Update. This has been referred to as the "Song of the Welkin Moon: Interlude" during the 6.2 (Luna 3) Livestream and picks up where Act 4 of the Song of the Welkin Moon left off.

A boss that was stated to drop Durin's Ascension Materials. It was originally designed as a weapon of war by the Armory Palace alongside the Kuuvahki Experimental Design Bureau.

6.2 (Luna 3) Update - Miliastra Wonderland Content
New Limited Outfit & Lobby Theme
Miliastra Wonderland will be receiving a winter-based update where the lobby turns into a Winter Wonderland, and the Premium Ode or banner will have a rate-up for the new limited outfit, "Frosty Plume", which you can get by rolling on the Ode using Arcane Keystones.

Genshin Impact will implement the Anti-Cheat policy for unfair behaviours during in-game, and this will be implemented during 6.3 Update.
