Earn Companionship EXP
In order to raise your Friendship Levels, you will need to earn Companionship EXP. There are a number of ways to do this, but the most efficient way is to complete daily commissions, which you need to be Adventure Rank 12 to unlock.

Keep Character In Party
You will not be able to increase your friendship level with a character if they are not in your party. It's not required that they be out on the field all the time, they just need to be in the party when you collect the Companionship EXP.
Complete Daily Commissions
There are 4 Daily Commissions available every day and each of them will give a significant amount of Companionship EXP. Completing them all will also allow you to collect a reward from the Adventurer's Guild!

Other than materials and artifacts, Domains also reward players with Companionship EXP when they are completed and you receive the rewards. Just make sure you have enough Resin to do so!

Similar to Domains, you can also get Companionship EXP from collecting the rewards after defeating the bosses. They often cost more resin, but they do give more rewards!

Starting in the version 1.5, the friendship EXP that you earn while playing in co-op mode will be doubled. This will allow you to accelerate your friendship when clearing domains and defeating bosses for a specific character. If you want to focus on one character, Coop is recommended.

You can gain additional Companionship EXP by simply placing the character that you want to raise on your Teapot. This is a convenient method for leveling the friendship of characters you haven't fully build yet.

Your Relationship With Your Characters
Your friendship level shows your current relationship with the characters that you have currently unlocked. Increasing your friendship levels with different characters will unlock different rewards once you reach certain levels!
Friendship Level Found At Character Screen
You will be able to check the current friendship level of a certain character at their respective character profile screens. The friendship bar or meter is found at the lower right portion of the screen.
Friendship Level Rewards
Discover Lore For Characters
You will be able to unlock new bits of lore and backstories for you characters. The higher the your friendship level, the more info you will learn about the characters.
Unlock New Voice Lines
Increasing your friendship levels will also allow you to unlock new voice lines for your character! You will be able to view them in the character's profile pages.
Unlock New Namecard Designs
Aside from backgrounds and voiceovers, you will also unlock new designs for your namecard. Your namecard will be what other players see when checking your profile. So make sure to change your namecard design to something that shows your personality!
