Best Teams for Lauma
| Rating | Team Description |
|---|---|
| ▼ Premium Lunar-Bloom Support Lauma | ★★★★★ - Lauma is considered Nefer's best teammate due to all her Lunar-Bloom related buffs that were fully intended to be maximized by Nefer. - One of the higher DPS ceiling teams, especially when paired with Columbina. |
| ▼ Hyperbloom with Lauma | ★★★☆☆ - You can pair Lauma with Hydro and Electro teammates to create a Hyperbloom team. - The On-Field character of this setup can range from a Hydro or Electro character, another Dendro character, or Lauma herself. |
| ▼ Nilou Bloom with Lauma | ★★★☆☆ - Nilou appreciates Lauma's Dendro RES shred and her ability to enable the special Bountiful Cores to CRIT, which slightly raises the DPS potential of the team. - The team composition is rigid, as substitutes result in a noticeable downgrade. |
| ▼Burning Support Lauma | ★★☆☆☆ - Apart from Lunar-Bloom teams, Lauma can also perform decently well as a support for Burning teams who need consistent Dendro application, preferably Dendro DPSes. |
Lauma is a character that greatly increases the damage of Bloom-related reactions and also produces a special bloom reaction called "Lunar-Bloom". While she finds the best success in dedicated Lunar-Bloom teams, you'll be able to get some mileage out of her in most Dendro-focused comps.

Nefer's premium Lunar-Bloom team has high DPS potential due to the inherent synergy between Lauma, Nefer, and Columbina. The core pairing of Nefer and Lauma is already quite strong on its own.
This team typically prefers the last slot to be another offensive, buff-providing support rather than a healer. This can make surviving difficult if you have not mastered Nefer's optimal combos.
Rotation Of Premium Lunar-Bloom Team
| No. | Procedure |
|---|---|
| 1 | Start with Lauma. Use her Skill (hold), then Burst. └ If this is the very first rotation, you can use Lauma's tap Skill. |
| 2 | Switch to Columbina. Use her Skill, followed by her Burst. |
| 3 | Swap to Sucrose, then use her Skill or Normal Attack (x1) into Burst. |
| 4 | Switch to Nefer to execute her Charged Attack combos. └ Her ideal combo will be: Skill -> [ Charged Attack -> Dash ] (x3) -> Skill -> [ Charged Attack -> Dash ] (x2) -> Charged Attack -> Burst or swap to Columbina to do Charged Attack (x1) |
| 5 | Swap back into Sucrose. Use her Skill. |
| 6 | Repeat from Step 1. |

Nefer | Columbina | - The only other character that can deal direct Lunar-Bloom DMG as an On-Fielder is Columbina through her Charged Attacks. |
Columbina | Aino (C6) Xingqiu Yelan | - Columbina's Lunar DMG% buffs are the best option. However, if your Aino is C6, she can still deal enough damage to clear certain endgame content. - Aino before C6 is still viable, but she may perform similarly to Xingqiu in this case. - Yelan's animations are longer and may cut into total DPS since you spend more time on her, but she's still one of the better options. |
Sucrose | Nahida Nilou (C2) Shinobu Ineffa | - Sucrose can be substituted with Nahida for her EM buff, or Nilou at C2 for more Dendro RES shred. - If you don't have Lauma's C1 and are having trouble keeping Nefer or her other teammates alive, you can slot in Shinobu or Ineffa instead. Ineffa can trigger a few Lunar-Charged attacks, but her contribution will be limited. |
Note that if you use the optimal Nefer combo, you might find it hard to produce enough Seeds of Deceit for her special Charged Attacks. Having a Hydro character that can keep up with Verdant Dew generation is the most important factor to consider when you need to replace Columbina.

Lauma also shreds Hydro RES with her Skill, making her a strong teammate for Neuvillette. Ineffa's Off-Field attacks will also trigger a few Hyperblooms, but the majority of the damage comes from her Lunar-Charged triggers.
Rotation Of Hyperbloom Lauma Team
| No. | Procedure |
|---|---|
| 1 | Start the rotation with Neuvillette's Skill. |
| 2 | Switch to Furina. Use Skill, followed by her Burst. You can dash after using her Skill to cancel the long animation. |
| 3 | Use Ineffa's Skill, then Burst if it's available. |
| 4 | Swap to Lauma. Normal Attack (x1) to apply Dendro, then use Burst. Follow this up with her Skill (hold). |
| 5 | Field Neuvillette. Use his Charged Attack, then Burst, then Charged Attack again. End this combo with his Skill. |
| 8 | Use Lauma's Skill (hold). |
| 9 | Do Charged Attack (x2) on Neuvillette again. |
| 10 | Repeat from step 1. |
Substitute Characters
| Character | Sub | Details |
|---|---|---|
Neuvillette | Alhaitham Clorinde Ayato Lauma | - A Hydro, Dendro, or Electro On-Field character is a decent alternative, but you can also choose to use Lauma as the active character to apply Dendro through her Normal Attacks. |
Ineffa | Raiden Shogun(EM) Kuki Shinobu Yae Miko Xingqiu | - The Electro character will be dealing most of the Hyperbloom damage, so they should be built with Elemental Mastery primarily. - An Electro On-Fielder should be paired with an Off-Field Hydro character in this slot instead. |
Furina | Columbina Yelan Sucrose Nahida | - Columbina would substantially increase the team's DPS by boosting Lunar Reaction DMG, but this would further lower Neuvillette's personal DPS contribution. - A secondary Hydro character or a buffer that provides extra Elemental Mastery is generally a more ideal fourth teammate option. |
You can substitute the Electro character in the Hyperbloom team with a Pyro Off-Fielder like Thoma or Durin to create a Burgeon team instead. Note that Burgeon teams are generally weaker than Hyperbloom comps, especially when considering the self-damage from the Burgeon reaction.

Rotation Of Nilou Bloom Team with Lauma
| No. | Procedure |

| 1 | Start with Nahida's Burst, then apply her Skill to all enemies. |
| 2 | Switch to Kokomi. Deploy her Skill. |
| 3 | Switch to Nilou to her Elemental Skill (x4). |
| 4 | Swap to Lauma, then use Elemental Skill (hold) into Burst. |
| 5 | Switch to Kokomi. Use her Elemental Burst, then start using Normal Attacks to keep applying Hydro for Bloom generation. |
| 6 | Repeat from step 1. |
Substitute Characters
| Character | Sub | Details |
|---|---|---|
Nahida | Dendro Traveler Yaoyao Collei Emilie | - Any character with decent Off-Field application are going to be decent substitutes, though you'd be losing out on Nahida's Elemental Mastery buff. - The purpose of the secondary Dendro is to hold Deepwood Memories for Dendro RES shred. |
Kokomi | Barbara Xingqiu Yelan Candace | - Kokomi is the primary Hydro applicator and should be built with full Elemental Mastery. This is because Nilou's Bountiful Bloom damage is calculated based on the stats of the character who triggers the reaction, which can be any team member. - You'll want a Hydro source that applies a significant amount of the element. Healing is nice to have, but not necessary, especially if there are other healing sources on the team. |
Nilou | Kaveh | - Replacing Nilou is a significant decrease in DPS since she enables the Bountiful Blooms with her presence in the party. Without her, regular Bloom DMG is often underwhelming. - Kaveh can be a viable option since he can quickly detonate Dendro Cores with his Skill, but the DPS will still be lower than what Nilou can achieve. |
Nilou's Bountiful Bloom passive is enabled when the team consists of Dendro and Hydro characters only. This makes the Nilou-Lauma team restrictive in options since maintaining the passive is key for this team's DPS.

Lauma's Dendro application through her Skill can be enough to sustain the Burning reaction for Kinich teams. Her Dendro RES shred also sees use here. She essentially functions as a substitute for Emilie.
Rotation Of Burning Support Lauma Team
| No. | Procedure |
|---|---|
| 1 | Start with Lauma. Use her Skill (tap), into Burst. |
| 2 | Switch to Durin. Use Skill, then Skill again to enter the Confirmation of Purity state. Use Burst. |
| 3 | Switch to Iansan and use her Skill. Do Normal Attack (x1) before using her Burst. |
| 4 | Swap to Kinich to do his optimal damage combo. You can briefly hold, aim, then release his Skill to cancel the animation, which can result in more Cannon shots overall. Use his Elemental Burst to refresh his Nightsoul points for another Cannon shot. |
| 5 | Repeat from step 1 after you're done with Kinich's combo. |
Substitute Characters
| Character | Sub | Details |
|---|---|---|
Kinich | Lyney Arlecchino Wriothesley | - Any On-Field DPS that can make use of the Burning reaction is a decent substitute for Kinich, just note that they won't benefit from Lauma's Dendro RES shred. - A Cryo DPS that can be played in a Melt team can also be an option. |
Iansan | Bennett | - The ATK% buff and access to the Cinder City set effect (though inconsistent) are why Iansan is slightly better than Bennett. However, Bennett can still provide equal or even better results depending on your setup. |
Durin | Mavuika Dehya Thoma Xiangling | - Durin is one of the best Pyro applicator choices for Kinich due to his Skill following the active character, but the DMG% buff from Mavuika makes her a top contender for the spot, especially if you execute her DPS combos within the team rotation. - Other options have their own caveats, such as Energy needs and lack of meaningful personal DPS. |
