Reasons To Pull For Raiden Shogun
From elemental team to physical team, she can fit in most team comps. If you do not have her yet, it is strongly recommended to pull for her as she is a versatile Electro character and definitely a must-have.
Amazing Electro DPS
Raiden Shogun as an Electro DPS can wreak with powerful Electro DMG and inflict even more powerful hits once she consumes accumulated Resolve stacks.
Flexible Electro Support
Raiden Shogun as a Support can provide coordinated attacks with Electro DMG which can trigger Electro-related reactions periodically for 25 seconds. In addition, she can increase the Burst DMG of the active character. She can be used at any comps that uses Electro or a Battery such as Hyperbloom or Electro-Charged.
Has An Amazing F2P Polearm Option
In case you do not have Raiden Shogun's signature weapon, Engulfing Lightning, there is another weapon good for Free-To-Play travelers that can also significantly boost her damage. The Catch is a unique weapon that can only be obtained thru fishing. At high refinements, this weapon compete with Raiden's Signature weapon.

Most of the materials used to raise Raiden Shogun is obtained at Inazuma. If you just started with the game, it will take a while before you can raise Raiden Shogun. She can still be useful for reactions but her damage will not be very good.
