3.1 Update Patch Notes - Release Date

3.1 Will Be Released In September 28, 2022

Genshin Version 3.1 will be released on September 28, 2022. The date was officially announced in the 3.0 livestream show.

3.1 Update Patch Notes - New Characters

Characters From 3.1 Update

Cyno	★5 / Polearm ・A pun loving character. ・Electro Attacker. ・Elemental Burst increases his damage and give him Electro infusion.
Candace	★4 / Polearm ・Uses shields to block attacks. ・Elemental Burst gives Hydro infusion to Claymore, Polearm and Sword characters. ・Climbing Stamina Passive
Nilou	★5 / Sword ・Bloom-oriented character. ・Important to pair with Dendro characters to fully use.

3 new characters are going to be released on version 3.1 The first phase would be Cyno and Candace while the second phase is Nilou.

New Character: Mika

Mika, a Favonius Knight, will be appearing in Cameo for version 3.1. He will not be released on version 3.1 but he will appear in the Mondstadt Event.

The first banner of 3.1 is Cyno and Venti. The new 4 star character, Candace, will be in this banner.

Phase 2 Banners

Nilou and Albedo will be the phase 2 of version 3.1.

Reset Of Top-Up Bonus

If you bought the Genesis Crystals the first time, the double amount bonus will be reset.

Version 3.1 Anniversary

3.1 Update will be released together with the second anniversary of Genshin Impact. New Log-in Bonus and In-Game Mail rewards will be sent for version 3.1.

Of Ballads And Brews

Celebrate "Weinlesefest" at Mondstadt and earn primogems, various furnitures and a free 4 star polearm. It will feature various events such as treasure hunting, battles and even managing your own business!

Wind Chaser

Enter a puzzle domain and fight monsters for various rewards in this Wind Chaser Event.

Star-Seeker's Sojourn

Star-Seaker's Sojourn lets you explore Sumeru and do some challenges for various rewards. You will also need to gather an item called Future Star.

Hyakunin Ikki Rerun

Hyakunin Ikki will be returning in version 3.1. Fight a series of battle with various teams to get various rewards.

Continuation of Sumeru's story featuring Scaramouche and Dottore.

Nilou Story Quest

Explore Sumeru with Nilou with her Story Quest and get a chance to learn more about the dancer, Nilou.

Cyno Story Quest

Lupus Aureus Chapter or Cyno's Story Quest will be unlocked in version 3.1. Learn more about Cyno in this story quest.

The second section of Sumeru, the Desert part, will be unlocked in 3.1 update.

A new flying machine was revealed during the livestream. It seems to be a World Boss that will be required for new characters.

Another Mecha Boss will be released on the Desert area of Sumeru.
