There are 2 illusory images for each location. After touching an image, there are enemies that are going to appear and clearing them would make a common chest appear.

Adjust The Time To Nighttime
The illusory images can only be touched when the sun is down. During the day, they generate something like heatwaves and you cannot touch them.
Set The Time Between 18:01 To 5:59
You can adjust & set the time in-game by accessing Paimon icon on the upper left side of the screen then find and select the clock icon. The adjustment must be greater than 30 minutes.
