Candace will become a playable character in the 3.1 Update of Genshin Impact as revealed in the 3.1 Livestream/ She'll be a featured 4-star character in the First Phase double banners of Cyno and Venti.

The Guardian of the Aaru Village in Sumeru, Candace is a fierce warrior whose sole motivation is to keep the peace in her beloved village. She may seem intimidating, but those who know Candace can attest to how caring and calm she really is.

Candace is a guardian of the Aaru Village, the largest settlment found in Sumeru's Desert. People who can abide by the rules of the village are free to stay, but those that seek to put it into harm must answer to Candace.

It's confirmed that Candace has a Hydro vision, but it's still not known how or what are the events that led to her gaining it.
