The Roaming Abode can only be played after completing the quest Theefold Expectations. This quest can be unlocked upon Chenyu's Blessings Of Sunken Jade quest line.

Once all requirements are met, head west of the Teatree Slope in then Chenyu Vale region. The little girl on the raft can be found there. If the girl does not appear by the raft, change the time in-game to night time.

- Talk to the little girl on the wooden raft
- Head to the marked location
investigate Someone's Notes hanging on the tent- Head to the next marked location
Search for a path. Do this by shooting the Pyro Barrel next to the Hilichurls- Enter the cavern
Examine someone's notes there- Head to the next marked location
- Unlock the gate
- Go back a few steps and you will find two stone mechanisms on the ground. Step on the other one without taking the Sacred Simulacrum to open the gate - Draw water from the pond inside the gate
- Return to Qiaoying Village and talk to Uncle Luo
- Go to the Herb Gatherer's House
- Water the plant
