Collect Cor Lapis In Liyue
Cor Lapis is pretty prevalent all across Liyue. You can often find it around mountain bases and around Geo constructs. Zhongli is actually a great character to farm for them since his Skill can easily take out the Geo Constructs.

Defeat Slimes Found Across Teyvat
Slimes can be found all over Teyvat. Since you'll be farming for Cor Lapis in Liyue, it's best to also farm Slimes in that area to save time. You can also tract them through the Adventurer's Handbook.

Get Zhongli Talent Books From Taishan Mansion
You can get the Gold Talent Books from the Taishan Mansion Domain in the Jueyun Karst in Liyue.

World Boss Location
Geo Hypostasis Is In The Guyun Stone Forest
In order to get Basalt Pillar for Zhongli, you will have to farm the Geo Hypostasis to get it. It's located in the Guyun Stone Forest, east of Liyue's Mainland.

Childe's boss fight can be found in Liyue Harbor after clearing the story mission to unlock it. Since this is a weekly boss, you can only farm it once a week!
How Many Days / Resin Needed?
Expect To Use Around 2500 Resin Or More
Since the material drops are random, farming for all of Zhongli's ascension and talent materials will cost you around 2,500 Original Resin at World Level 9. This is around 2-3 (14~21 Days) weeks of resin generation. The number of days also differs whether or not you want to level all talents or not.
More Resin Cost For Artifacts
Farming for Artifacts, especially good ones, will also add to the resin cost of building a character. Artifacts are heavily based on luck and cannot be measured.
Around 18 Weeks To Fully Upgrade Talents
Talent Ascension requires the use of a Weekly Boss material. Presuming you can get one per try per week, you will need 18 weeks to fully upgrade a character to 10/10/10 talents. You can shorten this by converting unneeded Weekly Boss Materials.
