5.6 Version Update for Genshin Impact has been announced to happen on May 7, 2025. This has been confirmed at the 5.6 Version Update livestream.

Pre-Installation Expected on May 5, 2025
Pre-Installation should be available on May 5, 2025, two (2) days before the Update happens. Pre-installing the update will allow players to immediately be able to enjoy the new Version once the maintenance is done.

TCG Updates
New Character and Action Cards has been added to the Genius Invocation TCG. You can now build a team around a specific character card and card switching has been optimized!
Optimizations For Version 5.6
Treasure Compass & Exploration Updates
- Treasure Compass now tracks Warrior's Challenges in Natlan.
- Treasure Compass can now track Obsidian Fragment Chests and Mora Chests when you have high Exploration Progress.
- Batch Deletion of Map Pins can now be done via filtering by region and marker category.
Character Skill and Constellation Optimizations
- Character Skill and Constellation descriptions can be toggled for a simplified version.
- Clickable links for certain terms in a character's Skill/Constallation description has also been added.
Character Enhancement Related Updates
- Adventurer's Handbook UI now displays the Domain categories based on type and sorted the domains by region opening time starting from the newest to oldest.
- Crafting Bench will now show a prompt once all held materials are enough to meet the set Ascension requirement.
- Once a character has been selected within the Crafting Bench UI, you will be redirected to the set crafting interface even if you leave to collect materials.
- Character filter icon in the Crafting Bench has been moved to the top-left corner.
- Real-time collection progress of Enhancement Materials will be included on the lower right item collection prompt as well as on Domain and Bosses settlement screens.
Imaginarium Theatre QoL Updates
- Players will be able to see the information of the Brilliant Blessings chosen and Blessing branches available.
- New Stella rewards have been added for the Imaginarium Theatre.
