5.4 Version Update of Genshin Impact is scheduled to happen on February 12, 2025. This has been confirmed at the 5.4 Version Update livestream.

Pre-Installation Expected on February 10, 2025
Pre-Installation should be available on February 10, 2025, two (2) days before the Update happens. Pre-installating the update will allow players to immediately be able to enjoy the new Version once the maintenance is done.

Quality Of Life Changes
- Story Key requirement for Story Quests has been removed.
- Optimizes the Training Guide and adds collection progress of materials to the relevant in-game UIs.
- Character Menu sorting and filtering added.
- Equipped Weapon Menu has sorting options and stat recommendations added.
- Teapot Menu UIs have been optimized and can now bring you to the Furniture Crafting menu.
- Battle Pass BP Period has also been updated, including the cross-version tracking for Spiral Abyss task progress.
- Audio: Adjusted the words in one of Lyney's JP Chat voice line, and EN voice lines were optimized in some Quests.
- Increases the Adventure EXP rewards for certain quests in the "Adventurer Handbook > Experience" interface.
- The maximum single instance DMG limit in combat is increased from 9,999,999 to 20,000,000.
- Paimon's Bargains, Character and Weapon Enhancement Materials will be sorted based on the enemy types that drop them.
- Citlali's Opal Shield was optimized to make it more visible during Aiming Mode.
- Chasca's combat experience was optimized when performing Charged Attacks during Nightsoul Blessing state against large-sized enemies in narrow spaces.
- Aloy will be added to Imaginarium Theater as one of the Supporting Cast members.
- Optimizes Mavuika's hair effects that overlap with translucent scenery in the Nightsoul's Blessing state.
