Use Ayesha's Chaos Prospector To Investigate
Use the gadget Ayesha's Core Porospector on every Survey Site location in order to find or spot the survey targets. Using it will point you to a light that can be the quest item, enemy, challenges or a treasure chest.

The Sampling Points are in the same locations wherein you found the Conduction Components during the first part of the event. The challenges you previously found can now be activated in order to charge Pursina's Spikes.

Use Electro Attacks To Charge Spikes
You will need an Electro Character for this since the Spikes can only be charged when hit by an Electro Attack! Since the spikes are spaced out, it's best to use long-ranged characters like Fischl and Kujou Sara to continuously charge them.
Defeat Enemies Before They Destroy The Spikes
Enemies will seek to destroy the Spikes and if you don't defend them well, the challenge will fail! Prioritize defeating spawned enemies than charging.
Unlock Special Survey Sites
Once you've completed all 4 of the Survey Sites, you will gain access to 2 more Survey Sites. You will need to use Ayesha's Chaos Prospector to find the challenge in these locations.

Electro attacks are needed to contineu charging Pursina's Spikes that is required to finish the challenge.
Hit The Weakness Of Ruin Grader
If there is a glowing spot in the Ruin Grader's body, hit those with attacks to stun the Ruin Grader for a few seconds.

A New Investigation Mission Event!
Shadow of the Ancients is a new event in Genshin Impact that consists of three (3) different phases in order to complete the event. This new event will be released on November 5, 2021.
Autonomous Mechanical Energy Source: Conclusion Quest
Similar to the Labyrinth Warriors, this event will be interlaced with a quest. Upon completing the quest, you will also complete the said parts of the event.

Travelers will need to explore different areas with this Ayesha's Chaos Prospector to search for components in order to repair an ancient device called Pursina's Spikes.
