Wishing In Banners
Wish For New Characters
▲You can wish for new characters by clicking on the icon at the top right side of your HUD, or by summoning Paimon.
You will be able to get new characters by wishing for them. Wishing will give you a chance to get a character, but is not wholly guaranteed.

Keep in mind that there will be several banners for you to choose when attempting to unlock characters. Choose the banner with the featured characters to get a higher chance of unlocking these characters.

Wishes will require you to use Fates. There are two types of Fates that you can use for rolling for characters: the Intertwined and Acquaint Fate.
Intertwined Fate
Intertwined Fate is basically a gacha currency that you use to pull for characters and weapons in Time-Limited Banners.

Acquaint Fate, on the other hand, can only be used on Beginner and Standard Wish Banners.
Acquaint Fate - How To Get & FarmCan Also Use Primogems For Wishes
Aside from Fates, you can also use Primogems to roll for characters. 1 Fate can be converted to 160 Primogems. This means that a 10-pull will cost you 1,600 Primogems in total.

Progress The Story
In order for you to unlock free characters, you will need to progress the story up to certain points.
List Of Free Unlockable Characters

| Collei | Get her after completing and clearing Spiral Abyss Floor 4. |
| Aloy | You can get her from the in-game mail after reaching Adventure Rank 20. She will only be available from Version 2.2 - 2.3. |
| Amber | Get her for free after completing the Prologue Act 1: The Outlander Who Caught the Wind Archon Quest. |
| Barbara | Get her for free after completing the Prologue Act 3: Song Of The Dragon And Freedom Archon Quest. |
| Kaeya | Get him for free after completing the Pavo Ocellus Chapter: Act 1 Quest |
| Lisa | Get her for free after completing the Tempus Fugit Chapter: Act 1 Quest. |
| Noelle | She is guaranteed in the first 10 rolls of the Beginner's Wish Banner. |
| Xiangling | If you manage to clear Spiral Abyss Floor 3, Chamber 3, you will get Xiangling for free! |
Complete Specific Events
Sometimes, there will be certain events that may award a free character upon completing the challenges. Try to finish events on time and obtain rewards!

Buy 4-Star Characters With Starglitter
▲You can access Paimon's Bargains by going to the Paimon Menu and selecting Shop.
You can also buy 4-Star characters from Paimon's Bargains. Starglitter is obtained from wishing and obtaining duplicate 4 or 5-Star weapons and characters.
Characters Change Every Month
Keep in mind that the characters you can buy from Paimon's Bargains changes every month. Be sure to check back if you're looking to get a 4-Star character!
