How To Unlock Floral Pursuit?

Complete Initial Event Quest

If you are eligible, the "A Gathering Of Outlanders" quest is automatically added to your quest list during the event. Finish this quest in order to unlock Floral Pursuit, Ballads of Breeze, & Breezy Snapshots.

Part Of Windblume 3.5

Floral Pursuit is one of the Windblume mini-games. In this mini-game, the mechanics are to collect Bloom Balloons at a given time and avoid getting caught by the Ersatz Balloons. Once you reach the required number of balloons a new level will be unlocked. You can either play solo or with your friends via co-op.

Floral Pursuit Walkthrough Chart & Tips

Collect Bloom Balloons

Be nimble and collect all Bloom Balloons while avoiding the Ersatz Balloons. You can see the total number of Bloom Balloons in the upper left corner of your screen.

See Remaining Bloom Balloons & Ersatz Balloons Movement

Thru the mini-map in the upper left corner of your screen, you can see the location of the remaining Bloom Balloons and the movements of Ersatz Balloons.

Elemental Burst Is Replaced

Once you are inside the challenge domain, your character's Burst is replaced with the event Burst that protects you. Ersatz Balloons can be destroyed if you approached them while the protection is active.

Avoid Ersatz Balloon

While playing the Floral Pursuit, you are going to encounter Ersatz Balloons. This balloon can either ignore or chase you lose 1 Pursue point the moment it touches you which also sends you back from the starting point.

Linear Ersatz Balloon

This type of Ersatz Balloon moves in a linear pattern and you can easily avoid it.

Chasing Ersatz Balloon

This type of Ersatz Balloon has a pointed hat and is programmed to chase you. Do your best to avoid it so your Pursue points do not get reduced or use the buff that can destroy it.

Available Buffs

Speed Buff For Increased Movement

Speed buff is a winged show symbol with a green glow that is scattered inside the challenge domain. Get it as much as possible in order to collect the balloons swiftly.

Protection Buff For Offense & Defense

Protection buff is a round ball with a green glow that is also scattered inside the challenge domain. Once acquired, you can use the event Burst that can destroy incoming Ersatz Balloons while the buff is active.

Wider Reach Buff For Increased Collecting Range

Wider reach buff is the Adventurers' Guild symbol with a yellow glow that is also scattered inside the challenge domain. This lets you collect Bloom Balloons with ease since your collecting range is increased.

Buff Duration Notifier

When the duration of a buff is almost done, you can see a countdown above your character's head.

Reach The Ring Of Pursuit

After collecting all Bloom Balloons, approach the Ring of Pursuit at the very end of the challenge domain. Interacting with it completes the challenge.

Floral Coupon To Purchase Weapon Refinement

Floral Coupon is used to purchase the available items in the event shop including Unfading Silky Grace, which is the refinement material for Mailed Flower. The event shop duration is from March 3, 2023 to March 27, 2023.
